My Host and Free Programs I've Found.
Here I want to spotlight the worthwhile freebies that can be found on the web that can help you start a website of your own. Whether it's a business or non-commercial site the links and freeware (I DON'T MEAN FREE TRIAL, I MEAN FREE) programs below will help you get started.
As for webspace: The webhost I use and feel comfortable recommending offers 120gb of Space w/1200gb of Transfer with a free Site Builder and two free domain names and two blogs for $5 a month with no setup fee. Advanced webmasters can find a Dedicated Server like what I use for this site for $99 a month. Once you have space you could conceivably build my entire site
with just the programs listed on this page. Some I've gathered for you so you can get them below, others like the Discus Message Board and the DAZ/Studio 3d program you'll have to go the their corresponding sites to download.

Everything's included. One click to set up a Chat, Guestbook, Simple Message Board, Shopping Cart, Online Forms, Flash Website (if you don't want to do HTML), a free image and animation library(Not as good as mine of course), webstats and alot more. I'm very impressed and most importantly my site hasn't gone down since I
transferred over.

Hundreds of free scripts are included and can be implemented with one click. It has a preview window, upload function and can explain anything you want to know about HTML, DHTML, XHTML, PHP, ASP, Cold Fusion, Javascript, CSS, SSI and Perl and their specific scripts and commands. It's simply amazing. I did eventually break down and pay to register it just because I want to support this kind of project.

Again you'll have to have webspace and know your FTP name and password. It can automatically synchronize your site with your recently updated pages on your computer.
DAZ/Studio is free and can be downloaded here.
Every 3d fairy, creature or animal I made on this site came from this program and the free content included. It's kind of a Studio Max/Poser hybrid. It's easily the most amazing free program on the web. They give it away in hopes of you buying more models, but it comes with plenty, and technically it's possible to create all of your own stuff from scratch.

Download Unfreez a free gif maker here.
Drag and drop images of any format into the box, set the timing for each frame and click Create Gif. No optimizing but great for the beginner.
Here you can download VicMans free Photo Editor.
Lots of filters and effects. Can't export into gif format but very useful nonetheless. Kind of a PhotoShop Lite.
This is A Small Personal Website Builder
This makes a small html site real quick. And you can also click to make a text only version... Perfect for pumping out cell phone sites.
