Most of my ads are from Google's Adwords. I do have a couple of private advertisers though, and for them I charge:
$10 a month for the top of my homepage
$5 a month for every ad anywhere else below the title
$2 a month for the top of any section page
$1 a month for every ad placed anywhere else on the site
I prefer to use the standard text links and 468 x 60 Banners.
I accept payment through the donation button once a month on the 1st so I can keep track. You can of course pay as far in advance as you like, but I make no guarantee as to the traffic you may receive and do not issue refunds assuming my site stays online and is still usable. There's no need to cancel either, just stop paying and I'll remove your ads by the 5th of the new month. All proceeds go directly into this site's bandwidth account to help guarantee its continued existance.
My highest traffic areas are of course my home page followed by the Funny Section, the Horse Section and my Experiments Section. Traffic varies depending on your ad and your service or products, so you may wish to experiment. I try to be accommodating and flexible. And I don't advertise for adult sites.
